Account Password Security Checklist
Account security starts with credentials that are unique, private and difficult to guess.
Strengthen sign-in
Use a long, unique password stored in a reputable password manager. Enable multi-factor authentication when offered. Never share a one-time code, recovery phrase or password with support callers, friends or message senders.
Protect the device
Keep the operating system and browser updated, use a screen lock and avoid signing in on shared devices. Do not save credentials in an unknown browser. Log out after use and review active sessions if the account provides that option.
Respond to unusual activity
If you see an unfamiliar login or transaction, stop using links in messages. Navigate to the verified platform address yourself, change the password and contact official support. Review payment accounts and preserve relevant records.
